The mission of the Department of Community Engagement is to support Erie Family Health Centers’ vision of all people living their healthiest lives by addressing the barriers to health equity such as poverty, lack of insurance, and language and cultural differences.
We strive to achieve this mission by:
- Assessing the health needs of our community and developing strategies to address these needs
- Developing and strengthening effective community partnerships in order to address the social drivers of health
- Identifying communities who lack of access to high-quality, affordable, convenient, welcoming healthcare
- Building public awareness and brand awareness in the community
